Gilbert Plains is located in the valley between the Duck Mountains to the north and Riding Mountains to the south, Gilbert Plains is situated at the heart of Manitoba’s Parkland region. This agricultural community of over 750 people is located on Highway 5 between Dauphin (30 km to the east) and the Saskatchewan border.
